I get asked a lot why I love photographing newborn sessions at home instead of in a studio — and this session is the perfect example.

It’s relaxed. No packing up a diaper bag the size of a suitcase, no rushing out the door — just snuggling on the couch, sitting together in the nursery you’ve lovingly put together, and being yourselves.

It captures real life. The way your toddler leans in for kisses (or, let’s be real, a little squeeze that might almost be a hug), the way you look at your new baby while your partner is gently holding them — these are moments that can’t be staged.

You’re in your space. The home you brought this little one into — where you’ll watch them grow. Being in that space makes the photos feel even more personal and emotional.

• I’ll gently guide you into natural moments — but mostly, I’m there to capture you loving on your baby, laughing together, and soaking up those tiny newborn snuggles.

And guess what? If the baby cries, needs to eat, or big siblings have a meltdown? All totally fine. We take our time, go with the flow, and capture the beauty in all of it — because that’s real life.
