I’m Sarah, the photographer behind Latitude 49 Photography. Based on Vancouver Island, I specialize in cinematic and romantic wedding photography that blends editorial artistry with authentic storytelling. My work captures honest emotion, natural light, and timeless connection for couples who want imagery that feels intentional and deeply personal.

Cassie and Jon’s wedding at Two Eagles Lodge was a celebration of love, laughter, and connection along the stunning Vancouver Island coastline. With sweeping ocean views, a golden summer glow, and heartfelt moments woven throughout the day. Their story unfolded with the kind of warmth that defines everything I love about intimate island weddings.
The morning began in the suites of Two Eagles Lodge. Cassie was surrounded by her bridesmaids, laughter echoing through the upstairs suite, while Jon and his groomsmen prepared on the main floor. Details like her grandmother’s necklace, rustic boots, and the handcrafted bouquet brought a personal, sentimental touch to the day.

As the ceremony began, guests gathered under the garden arch overlooking the bay. The moment Jon first saw Cassie walking down the aisle with her father was nothing short of cinematic. Their vows, filled with emotion, ended with a kiss that drew cheers from friends and family before everyone joined for a full-guest portrait — a perfect keepsake of every face that shared in their joy.
After the ceremony, we wandered through the property for family portraits and playful candids among the games and laughter. Later, the couple snuck away to the nearby fields for soft golden-hour portraits.
Dinner and speeches brought heartfelt stories, tears, and joy.
From start to finish, this wedding captured everything that makes Vancouver Island celebrations so special — wild beauty, deep love, and the feeling of home.
