Inspired by the wild beauty of Vancouver Island, I photograph weddings and elopements in misty forests, along rugged coastlines, and everywhere in between. Beyond The Lens...
What’s your favourite colour?
The forest. Not just green—all of it. The mossy greens, the golden light streaming through trees, the earthy browns of the trails. It’s my ultimate inspiration and happy place.
Have you always loved adventure?
I was born overseas and grew up in a military family, so adventure’s been in my blood from day one.
What’s your guilty pleasure when you’re not working?
Smutty fantasy books. Give me a broody hero, a badass heroine, and a ridiculous amount of tension, and I’m gone for hours (or days).
What’s something people don’t expect about you?
I have spent fifteen years in healthcare. What surprises people most is how deeply I love that work—holding space for someone’s journey and leaving behind something meaningful has always been at the heart of what I do.
How do you handle awkward moments?
I live for them. I’ll snort-laugh mid-conversation or wave at someone who wasn’t actually waving at me. Awkward is my natural habitat, and I fully embrace it.
What is your favourite tv show?
I can watch The Office and Modern Family over and over again. They're my go to background TV show.
Are you an animal person?
100%. Aside from my own two pups, I’ll absolutely befriend any dog, cat, or random wildlife I come across. Even the birds that hit my windows are basically my besties. You want them to be a part of your day? I beg you to bring them
