Photography, to me, is memory and legacy. It is something you return to as the years pass, not just to see what happened, but to remember how it felt. Each wedding is approached with thoughtfulness and respect for the weight of the day.
Inspired by the coastlines, forests, and shifting light of Vancouver Island, I photograph celebrations in places that feel connected to the people standing in them. My work is cinematic without being overproduced. Editorial without losing its humanity. Documentary at its core.
My purpose is simple. To preserve your story in a way that feels true now and meaningful decades from now.
When I am not behind the camera, you will find me outdoors. Camping. Fishing. Exploring quiet places with the people I love most. That grounding in nature and relationships shapes how I see the world and how I photograph it. Calm. Observant. Present.
Based in the Comox Valley, I document weddings and elopements across Vancouver Island with a documentary foundation and cinematic perspective.
Beyond The Lens...
I built this business because I believe photographs become anchors. They hold you steady when years pass quickly. They remind you who you were and what mattered most.
Outside of weddings, I am happiest outdoors. Give me ocean air, quiet forest trails, or a campsite with nowhere to be. I am deeply inspired by nature and the way light shifts through it. That awareness of landscape carries into how I photograph your day. The setting is never just a backdrop. It is part of your story.
I grew up in a military family and was born overseas. Movement and change were constant. That upbringing shaped how I adapt, read people, and stay calm in unpredictable situations. Wedding days have emotion, movement, and energy. I move through them steadily.
Before photography became my full time focus, I spent over fifteen years working in healthcare. Supporting people in vulnerable moments taught me how to listen closely, hold space, and remain grounded when emotions run high. That experience informs everything about how I show up for my couples.
I do not rush awkwardness. I do not expect performance. Most people are not models. You do not need to be. When you realize you can simply be yourselves, that is when the most meaningful images are created.
I am also deeply loyal to the people I care about. My dogs are family. My circle is small and intentional. The relationships in my life matter. That perspective shapes how I view yours.
